Soul of the Rose Bohemian Scarf

Inspired by our favorite vintage French scarves, this soft, easy-to-wear design is made for everyday draping. The viscose is lighter and airier than our kimonos while keeping the same beautifully soft feel.

Stop and smell the roses. Our Soul of the Rose collection began with John William Waterhouse’s beloved painting of the same name, capturing a woman lost in the fragrance of a climbing rose. Around her, blooming gardens from centuries of art bring sunlit pathways, impressionist blossoms, and armfuls of roses borrowed from painters who understood that flowers are never just flowers.

A graceful parasol from Berndtson’s 1879 painting A Pause in the Studio and a nineteenth-century embroidered Qing Dynasty textile add a romantic, antique feel. The result is a garden preserved in cloth, celebrating beauty, stillness, and the simple joy of pausing long enough to breathe it all in.
