A reimagining of the traditional memento mori, Momento turns its gaze toward what endures: love, truth, wonder, and the beauty of the life we are living right now. Two starlings are silhouetted against a luminous full moon, companions in flight through the dark.
Around them, discover a skull softened by flowers, luna moths, butterflies, sheaves of wheat, and sparrows nestled among branches. Beneath it all, a banner reads Momento Vivere: remember to live.
The layered artwork is a collage of original illustrations by artist Jessica Roux. Each element becomes a small talisman of cycles, change, and the fragile beauty of being alive.
