The Story Behind The Artwork
Fleur De Soleil celebrates golden hours when the sun lingers and the world slows down. Its design draws together 1891 watercolor and graphite studies of magnolia blossoms for Tiffany & Co., Victorian lithographs of ripe peaches, and an 1830 sketch of a fountain and garden pavilion. Butterflies and moths from an early 19th-century insect encyclopedia decorate the trim.
