A print filled with beautiful stories
Discover hand-painted, fringed banners from the 1800s, a tangled garden from a Parisian perfume advertisement, scraps of 18th-century floral fabric, antique swallows, and a textile-draped doorway from an 1885 French book of drapery and design. A figure borrowed from Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus carries the banner of Hope.
The trim repeats Faith, Hope, Love in antique hand-painted lettering, while the sleeve banner reads, “But the greatest of these is love.” It’s a wearable reminder to keep finding beauty in the everyday.
